Pinks Birthday Wishlist

Pinks 5th birthday is coming closure.She is super excited about it.In May schools are closed so she wanted to celebrate her birthday in April itself when school is open.On April 11th exactly one month before her actual birthday she celebrated her birthday at school.She planned everything much in advance.Yeah you may think what a five year old will plan.Her planning includes where to sit in the class,who will stand next to her when she was cutting the cake,what dress she should wear,what chocolates she should give her friends,how many chocolates she will give to her best friend and to name a few.

Now that she celebrated her birthday in school she has planned or gave me a wish list which she made her elder sister to write it on a paper.The invites to her birthday party apart from family and friends are Doreman,Nobita,Oggy,Cockraches,Chota bheem, Chutki, Raju, Dolu,Bolu, Henry,Ninja Hattori and she doesn’t want to include Motu.

She saw revlon hair colour ad many times but she didn’t follow what is shown in the ad.Today she realised that hair can be coloured in many colours.Now she wants to colour her hair PINK.

Her cake should have brown icing with a big flower and a Winnie the pooh toy on that.I am happy that she didn’t ask me any cartoon character or barbie cake and my baker too is happy that i will take what is their in his bakery rather than me asking him to customize my cake.

She decided  whom to take with me to get the cake from the bakery on the party day.It seems i didn’t take her last time and she wants to come with me along with my cousin.

Not able to manage my two blogs.Pinks saw this blog name and now she wants to me get a new blog on her name…

When you least expect it…..

Day before yesterday was varu’s 7th birthday.Did lot of research to bake a Barbie cake which she wanted after seeing smitha’s birthday cake which she did for poohi’s on her birthday.Checked her post may be 100  times.But daughter was not confident on her mom and she wanted a cake baked by a professional baker unlike a self-declared baker like me.

Went to couple of bakeries which are famous in my area and they showed me snaps of Barbie cakes which they downloaded from internet.And the price they said was Rs.1500/-.I was not confident on them and went to a small bakery close to my house.

Went there just to talk to him about the cake for a couple of times.Download a picture of Barbie cake in my mobile and showed him.Brought a duplicate Barbie doll and gave him and also showed him how to cut the skirt of barbie.He was very patience and talked to me very humbly when i asked him many questions.

It always happens no when u least expect you will that from there.That bakery is very tiny with a small kitchen behind and 3 guys working in that bakery.Learnt a lesson not to under-estimate anyone.

I was worried how the cake will come and what colours he will use.The baker said madam don’t worry i will use the best ingredients and the colour.You just come on 1st at around 6 in the evening.I forced him to give me by 4 incase that doesn’t come out well i still have time to buy another cake for the birthday party we were having that evening.

The cake came out so well.Daughter loved it.But my heart cried when i was cutting the cake.The skirt was so pretty and told daughter that this is the last time that i did Barbie cake for you.

Thanks you all the guys and girls for the wishes,she was all smiling when i got sms as on when i got messages in my facebook.Hugs to u all……

My LiTtLe BiG gIrL

Yesterday varu was reading a book and in that book she saw one recipe of sandwich.She came running to me and said amma i wanted to make this sandwich for you all for dinner.Today you don’t cook for us,you just sit on the dinning table i will serve you the sandwich.

She made a list of things she needs.Peanut butter,bread and banana.We all went out to bring them.Then she proudly made the sandwich and served us.Love you baby……

My baby she will be 7 years old next month.She was so tiny and fragile when she was months old and i was scared to put my hands on her thinking that my hand weight she can’t bear it.Now she sleeps putting her legs and hands around me.

Now she knows how a baby comes out from mothers tummy.Till she saw Robo movie she was thinking that doctor will make a cut on mothers tummy and will take out the baby and will stitch it with a needle and thread.After seeing robo movie she came to  me and said to me that amma(mom) rajni uncle removed the baby from the down.I was shocked,i didn’t know what to say.We all watched the movie and i didn’t changed the channel when rajni(robot) was delivering a baby.
