Even i loved The Namesake and The God of Small Things. Both are absolutely brilliant books. Have you tried The Hungry Tide by Amitav Ghosh? Just finished reading it; pretty good!

Oh you’ve read “The White Tiger” too. I’m reading that now BUT I can’t seem to get into it completely. It’s taking me a long time to read.
I also liked “The colour purple.”
